Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Kum Software ("we", "us") handles information when you use our website and our games and apps, including Infinite War: Frontline (together, the "Services").
Summary
- No account is required to play. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
- The game collects anonymous gameplay statistics and crash reports. You can switch this off in Settings > Share anonymous usage and crash data.
- The game shows ads (rewarded videos and an ad between some runs) and sells two optional one-time purchases. Ads use your device's advertising ID, so you can opt out in your device settings.
- We do not sell your data.
Who we are
Infinite War: Frontline is made by Kum Software, an independent studio run by Fatmanur & Hakan Mert Kum. You can contact us about privacy at info@kumsoftware.com.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. For example, your email address when you write to us or ask to be told about a launch.
- Gameplay statistics. Runs started and ended, run length, score, weapons and upgrades picked, bosses beaten, pickups collected, store and Armory activity, and similar events. Sent only while data sharing is on (the default).
- Crash and diagnostic data. Crash reports, errors, app freezes, stack traces and recent game log lines. Sent only while data sharing is on. We do not collect screenshots or anything you type.
- Device and app information. App version, operating system and version, and device model.
- Random identifiers. A random install ID created on first launch, plus a random code for each play session. They are not linked to your name, your device's hardware ID or any other account. You can replace the install ID in Settings > Reset analytics ID, after which new data can no longer be connected to old data.
- Online profile. When the game is online it creates an anonymous player on our servers, with a randomly generated callsign. We store that callsign, your cloud save (your game progress, such as credits, upgrades, purchases and settings), season pass claims, and your best score per leaderboard. Your callsign and scores are visible to other players on the global leaderboards. Your callsign is generated for you and is not your name.
- Optional sign-in. If you choose to sign in with Sign in with Apple (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), we receive an identifier from that service so we can restore your profile on a new phone. We do not receive your Apple password, and with Apple's private relay option we do not see your real email address.
- Purchases. Payments are processed by Google Play or the App Store. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made, not your payment card details.
- Advertising. See "Ads" below.
- Notifications. The game can schedule a local reminder on your device when a supply drop is ready. It is created on the device, nothing is sent from a server, and the game asks your permission first (after a few runs, never at first launch).
We do not store your IP address in our analytics or crash reporting and do not work out your location from it. Your game progress is also saved on your device.
Ads
The game shows rewarded video ads (for example to revive after a defeat) and an ad between some runs, through the AppLovin MAX mediation platform. AppLovin and the ad networks it works with (such as Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Mintegral, Pangle, Liftoff and InMobi) may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, device information and ad interactions, to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, personalize ads. These companies act under their own privacy policies. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first (including through Google's consent form in the EEA, UK and Türkiye, and Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS). You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings. Owners of the Ad-Free purchase see no ads.
How we use information
- To run the Services, save your progress, restore it on a new device and run leaderboards.
- To understand how the game is played, balance it and fix bugs.
- To show ads and measure their performance, and to process purchases.
- To protect the game against cheating and abuse, including checks that requests come from the genuine app (Google Play Integrity on Android, Apple DeviceCheck on iOS).
- To reply to your messages and send launch news you asked for.
Third-party services
These providers process data on our behalf or under their own policies:
- PostHog (EU cloud), for gameplay statistics. Privacy policy.
- Sentry (EU region), for crash reports. Privacy policy.
- Google Firebase (servers in Belgium, europe-west1), for anonymous sign-in, cloud save, leaderboards, app verification and the page that opens shared challenge links. Privacy information.
- AppLovin MAX and its ad networks, for ads. Privacy policy.
- Google Play and Google Play Games Services on Android, and Apple (App Store, Sign in with Apple) on iOS, for purchases and optional sign-in.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website.
All game traffic is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We do not share your data with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Legal basis (EEA, UK and Türkiye)
We process gameplay statistics and crash reports based on our legitimate interest in keeping the game stable and fun, with an opt-out in Settings. Cloud save, leaderboards and purchases are processed to provide the game you asked to use. Advertising identifiers are used only with your consent where the law requires it, which you can withdraw in the game or in your device settings.
How long we keep data
- Gameplay statistics and crash reports: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Online profile, cloud save and leaderboard entries: until you delete your account, or until we remove inactive profiles.
- Emails you send us: as long as needed to answer you.
- Ad networks keep data under their own policies.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email info@kumsoftware.com and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
- Turn off analytics and crash reports: Settings > Share anonymous usage and crash data. Nothing more is sent, and unsent data on the device is dropped.
- Start fresh: Settings > Reset analytics ID.
- Delete your online account: use Delete account on the Account page in the game. It removes your online profile, cloud save, linked sign-in, leaderboard entries and anonymous sign-in. Progress stored on your phone stays until you uninstall the game.
- Ads: reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings, or buy Ad-Free.
- Other requests: depending on where you live, including the EU, UK and Türkiye (KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your data, to object to some uses of it, and to complain to your data protection authority. Email info@kumsoftware.com with your install ID (shown in Settings) and we will delete or return the data tied to it.
